What is a Floppy Emulator?

What is a Floppy Emulator?

What is a Floppy Emulator?

Simply put, it is a device that allows an image of a diskette to be used on a retro computer, like the Apple II.  Apple2Disk allows not just regular Apple II diskettes to be emulated, but support virtually all forms of copy protection.

What is a Floppy Emulator?

A Flux-copier is a hardware device that allows copying or imaging, also known as ripping, a vintage diskette into a digital image.  This image can then be written back to another diskette or used with a floppy emulator. Apple2Disk can rip and/or copy virtually any Apple 2 diskette, regardless of the copy protection in use.
